Kinabalu Park, 1623 meters above sea level and with an
area of 754 square kilometers at the foot of Mount
Kinabalu (4,093 meters high), is located 88 kilometers
or two hours drive from Kota Kinabalu A botanist's
paradise, Kinabalu Park is home to over 1,000 species
of orchids, 300 species of birds, 26species of
rhododendron, 450 species of ferns, 9 species of
pitcher plants including Nepenthes Rajah-the largest
in the world. Tour highlights include Park
Headquarters, Exhibition Hall, and guided jungle walks
and slide show of Kinabalu {ark. Visit to a local
market will be included if time permits.
